Bold Blades is a division of Braemore, Ltd. a North Carolina based corporation. Bold Blades was founded by Charles and Janell Swann of Georgia but was purchased by Lin and Blannie Robinson in July of 2000. The company provides reproduction swords, dirks and daggers of the Scottish style. It also offers bonnets, sporrans, waist belts, sword belts and Clan Crest and military blazons. We believe that we are the largest retailer of blazons in North America and quite possibly the world, as at times we have as many as 1000 blazons in over 175 clan and family name in stock. We also carry blazons for all five US military branches and can provide custom badges in your design. For additional information about custom badges please contact us by phone or e-mail. We also provide discounts to Scottish societies who order in quantity for their members.
Over the years we have outfitted a number of bagpipe bands with belts, sporrans, bonnets, spats and hackles. We offer discounts to bands but all orders must be placed through the quartermaster or pipe major, depending on the organizational structure.
