Bold Blades is a division of Braemore Limited, a North Carolina corporation.  The company has been in business since the early nineties, but changed ownership in July, 2000.  The founders were Chuck and Janell Swann of Georgia.  The current owners are Lin and Blannie Robinson, who live in Shelby, North Carolina.  Their son, Stuart, created the web site and also a Corporate Vice President.  Both the former and current owners have participated for many years in Scottish-American activities and are members of the Clan Gunn Society of North America and the Clan Gunn Society (UK).

At Bold Blades we strive to provide quality products at prices our customers can afford.  We are constantly seeking to expand our offerings and will continue to do so in years to come.

We believe that we are the largest vendor of Clan Crest Badges in the United States.  We also believe that we initiated that product line in the US.  We currently stock blazons for over 170 clan and family names and all five branches of the US military.  We also carry generic Scottish and Irish blazons.  At times we have over 1,000 blazons in our warehouse and therefore seldom have to backorder a customer's requests.

We look forward to hearing from the many friends and repeat customers that we have gained over the years.  As time permits, we also plan to expand our presence at Southeastern United States Highland Games and Scottish and Celtic Festivals.
